Now that you’ve had time for your impressions to settle, can you tell us what you will remember from your visit to northwestern Istria?
The first thing that comes to mind is all the delicious food and wine we had the opportunity to try. The food scene is definitely at a very high level. Grožnjan was as beautiful as usual, as were the hanging boats and the lighthouse in Savudrija, which I loved.
Fashion is obviously one of your great passions. Which locations in northwestern Istria seem like the ideal setting for a fashion editorial?
The hanging boats in Savudrija would provide great context for a fashion editorial. The old centre of Buje would also be fantastic for a romantic fashion editorial.
Your visit to northwestern Istria was accompanied by a rich selection of gourmet food. What was the most delicious thing you tried on your trip?
Everything was very tasty and prepared wonderfully, but lunch at Konoba Morgan with their veal thrilled me the most.
Did you discover any wines you particularly liked?
I especially loved Franković wines, which we tried with lunch at Konoba Rondo.
Which is more your cup of tea: relaxing by the sea or strolling through town and exploring hidden streets?
I’m definitely more for exploring hidden streets and looking for great photo opportunities. Grožnjan and Buje proved to be excellent for this – I didn’t know where to start with all their cute little streets.

If someone asked you what not to miss in northwestern Istria, what would you tell them?
It’s really hard to choose just one thing, because each town has something special. But if I had to choose, I would say Grožnjan.
